Get Your Shearwater Dives into DIVR
Shearwater Cloud on your computer exports your dives as UDDF. Upload that file to DIVR and each dive arrives with its full profile, gas switches and deco stops.

Which Computers
Every model that syncs to Shearwater Cloud: Petrel, Perdix, Perdix 2 and 3, Teric, Peregrine and Tern.
How to Share a Dive
- Sync your computer to Shearwater Cloud on a desktop or laptop, as you do already.
- Select the dives you want to bring across.
- Choose Export, then UDDF.
- Send the file to your phone and open it with DIVR, or upload it from your logbook on the web.
- Give each dive a site if it has none, decide whether to share, and import.
If Something Is Different

It replaced Shearwater Cloud on mobile in December 2025 and has no export yet. Use Shearwater Cloud on a computer for now.
Other formats
Shearwater Cloud also exports DAN DL7 and Shearwater's own XML. DIVR reads DL7 as well; it does not read the XML yet, so pick UDDF.
Many dives at once
One UDDF file can hold a whole season. Files must stay under 5 MB, so export a season at a time rather than years, and let DIVR skip what you already have.
What DIVR Keeps
- Date, time and duration
- Maximum and average depth
- Water temperature
- The full depth profile, with gas switches, ceiling and deco stops
- Gas mixes and tank pressure, where the computer logged them
- Share the same dive twice and DIVR skips the second
Private Until You Say So
Imported dives start private. Nothing reaches the feed, your profile or the research archive until you share it, and you do that from your logbook when you are ready.
Automatic Sync
Shearwater is building an account connection for partners and expects first developer access this autumn. We have asked to be part of it. Until it exists, UDDF is the route, and it is the one Shearwater itself recommends.
